Empowered Motherhood includes:
6 visits with your doula. Typically families have 3 visits during pregnancy and 3 visits postpartum with each visit lasting 60 to 90 minutes. Families may choose to have virtual or in-person visits.
In-person labor & delivery support by your doula.
Support by text and phone between visits.
Community Events to support you and your family’s whole health.
Cost:
$150 / month for 10 months or $1,500 per pregnancy journey. Most families start with On Up at the end of their first trimester or early in their second trimester and receive care through 12 weeks postpartum. On Up welcomes families at anytime in pregnancy and will adjust the monthly payment accordingly.
On Up is working to make doula support accessible to all families by partnering with sponsors and by offering a sliding scale fee schedule as needed.

Doula Support
Many families benefit from the extra support a doula can provide during pregnancy, labor & delivery, and postpartum. Doulas are not just for moms planning an epidural free delivery. Doulas are for any family interested in an informed and supported pregnancy experience.

FAQs

On Up and affiliated doulas provide support to families. On Up and affiliated doulas DO NOT provide clinical or medical care, advice or procedures. Families MUST have a clinical care provider like an OB, Midwife, physician, or nurse practitioner. In the event of an emergency, immediately contact your clinical provider or 911.

On Up recognizes that each family’s journey is unique from conception to pregnancy to birth and motherhood. We encourage you to focus on accessing information and support to make this pregnancy, “your best pregnancy.” We know that some journeys can be really, really awful and we are here for you, no matter what “your best pregnancy” might look like.

Labor and delivery support in person, unless families choose virtual.
Families receive 6 visits with their doula that are 60 to 90 minutes in length. Visits may be in-person or virtual. Typically families have 3 visits during pregnancy and 3 visits postpartum.
Text and phone support. Many families benefit from texting with their doulas between visits when they have questions, want to process a care experience, or need unbiased support.

Prices may vary by market. In standard markets, On Up costs $1,500 per pregnancy and is typically billed at $150/mo. for 10 months. On Up adjusts the monthly payment for families starting later in pregnancy, ie. $300/mo. for 5 months. Check the “Services” FAQ to see everything included in the list price.

On Up collaborates with amazing doulas to provide doula support for families. On Up verifies the training of doulas and conducts background checks and references checks for all doulas providing services through On Up.

Families are allowed to cancel their subscriptions at anytime.

On Up does not generally provide refunds for unused visits or services. In some circumstances, On Up may adjust services to meet a family’s unique needs or issue an On Up care credit that may be given to a friend or donated to a mom in the community.
